Final letter grades will be determined as follows:

• A=90%
• B=80%
• C=70%
• D=60%
• F=below 60%

(+) and (-) will be used according to University Policy

• 3 Lecture Exams (100 pts each)
• 2 Laboratory Practicals (100 pts each)

Total Points Possible...500 points

• NO makeup exams will be given for Lecture Exams. If a Lecture Exam is missed for legitimate reasons (excuse must be verified in person and in writing within 1 week of the missed exam), the FINAL EXAM will count for 200 points of the final grade (100 points for the Final Exam and 100 points for the missed Lecture Exam).
• Students arriving late for any exam will be subject to the makeup policy.
• All students are REQUIRED to take the Final Exam.
• NO makeup exams will be given for Laboratory Practicals. If a Lab practical is missed for legimate reasons, please contact your instructor.

• Attendance in Lecture will be monitored.
• Attendance in Laboratory will be monitored.
• Cut Policy: students are responsible for all missed work; remember, "80% of success is just showing up" (Woody Allen)
• Accommodation: students with disabilities that require special accommodations should contact their instructors during the first week of classes.
• All cell phones MUST be turned OFF and put away at ALL TIMES during Lecture and Laboratory.
• Absolutely NO eating or drinking is allowed in the lecture room or laboratory.
