Biology Club

The Darlington Biological Society is the Biology Club at West Chester University. The goal of this group is to foster a fun and friendly environment for students who have a passion for biology.

The Biology Club likes to get involved with service, science-related trips, research and fundraising. Past service includes participating in campus events such as Aid to South Africa and fund raising for a summer camp that helps terminally ill children and their siblings. We also take frequent trips to places such as the Mütter Museum, the Philadelphia Zoo, the Franklin Institute and others. With help from the club’s budget, these trips are often inexpensive and allow students to spend the entire day on their excursion. We also discuss different research opportunities with WCU faculty or outside programs.

Weekly emails are sent from the club’s Communications Director as a reminder of events, programs, meeting times and meeting locations. Interested students may sign up for the club or contact the club’s Communications Director with any questions, concerns, or ideas through OrgSync.
